The Nearest Tube app developed by Acrossair, is the latest exciting development in augmented reality. Taking the technology outside into the big bad world! 


Taking advantage of the boom in mobile phone technology Acrossair have combined the augmented technology with Apple's iphone and the results look like a taster of whats to come.


The new application uses the iphone's tilt technology, camera and GPS to locate the user. Direct the phone at the street as you walk around miserable and lost, and signs will appear on the street guiding you safely to your nearest tube station! Simples.
